NEW STRINGS & WOODWINDS PROGRAMS AVAILABLE
South West Music Regional Conservatorium in partnership with the Association of NSW Regional Conservatorium has launched new string and woodwinds programs.
We are giving our students and community the opportunity to learn these instruments from highly qualified teachers who come from the Association of NSW Regional Conservatoriums. These include Murray Conservatorium of Music, Coffs Harbour Regional Conservatorium, Hume Conservatorium and the Riverina Conservatorium. The beauty of technology means our students can access this high level of teaching though online learning. We have a new Zoom studio set up to facilitate lessons at the Conservatorium. From those who are not local to Deniliquin, we can arrange for you to do them remotely.
We identified that there is a demand in our community from individuals wanting to learn string and woodwind instruments. This program has been developed to enable us to offer these options to students whilst we and other regional Conservatoriums struggle with widespread staffing shortages posed to us in rural and remote areas.
If you are interested in starting to learn a string or woodwind instrument but don’t want to purchase one just yet, we have you covered. We have musical instruments available for hire starting from just $35 per term. A 30 minute lesson is only $35.50. Times for tuition are flexible. We will work around your schedule to find a time convenient.
Our Conservatorium is dedicated to providing the best possible music education in the region. We are constantly developing comprehensive music education curriculum to support learning.
