VICTORIA WELSH CHOIR - EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT
As part of the Live Music Concert Series presented by the South West Music Regional Conservatorium, we had the Victora Welsh Choir perform for us at the Baptist Church on Sunday 25 June 2023.
We couldn’t do events like this without the support of the NSW Government Department of Education, and all of our valuable sponsors and partners - Peppin Consulting, 2QN, the Edward River Council, South West Arts, and the Deniliquin Pastoral Times.Thankyou to our amazing volunteer committee who helped on the day. And thankyou to the Baptist Church for having us and to the Victoria Welsh Choir and Sing Australia who also performed.
Now into its 44th year of music making, VicWelsh is a traditional Welsh male voice choir, sang in four-part harmony. Most of the choristers are from Greater Melbourne but there is also an established and thriving Bendigo chapter and a fast-growing Ballarat group. The choir regularly tours interstate and internationally with the next UK tour planned for September 2023.
